About the resource
Diseases Database is a small, long-standing UK-based commercial project that maps thousands of diseases, symptoms, medications and chemicals into a cross-referenced web — the kind of 'this leads to that' lookup useful when working up a differential. Each entry is linked to ICD-10, OMIM, MeSH and other vocabularies, and the dataset is included in the UMLS Metathesaurus.
It's less comprehensive than the major disease compendia but is fast for quick lookups of associations between conditions, signs and substances. The site is free; the underlying dataset is licensable.
