Gene Curation Coalition
"Harmonised gene–disease validity across the major curation efforts."
About the resource
The Gene Curation Coalition (GenCC) is a small consortium of the major gene–disease curation efforts — ClinGen, DECIPHER, Orphanet, Genomics England PanelApp, Ambry, Illumina, Invitae, Laboratory for Molecular Medicine, the Myriad Women's Health clinical reporting team and others — that aggregates each group's gene–disease validity classifications into a single harmonised view.
Differences between submitters are surfaced explicitly, which is valuable when designing diagnostic panels or auditing assertions across labs. Monthly releases, CC0.
What you'd use it for
- 01See where ClinGen, Orphanet, DECIPHER and PanelApp disagree on a gene
- 02Audit a diagnostic gene panel against multiple validity sources
- 03Pull a harmonised gene–disease validity table into a target-discovery pipeline
