About the resource

The Gene Curation Coalition (GenCC) is a small consortium of the major gene–disease curation efforts — ClinGen, DECIPHER, Orphanet, Genomics England PanelApp, Ambry, Illumina, Invitae, Laboratory for Molecular Medicine, the Myriad Women's Health clinical reporting team and others — that aggregates each group's gene–disease validity classifications into a single harmonised view.

Differences between submitters are surfaced explicitly, which is valuable when designing diagnostic panels or auditing assertions across labs. Monthly releases, CC0.

What you'd use it for

  1. 01See where ClinGen, Orphanet, DECIPHER and PanelApp disagree on a gene
  2. 02Audit a diagnostic gene panel against multiple validity sources
  3. 03Pull a harmonised gene–disease validity table into a target-discovery pipeline
